IS MONTPELLIER BELIEVES THAT THE PRACTICE OF SPORTS AND ARTISTIC ACTIVITIES HELPS DEVELOP A HEALTH, HAPPY STUDENT ALONG WITH ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS.
Sports activities are at the core of the ISM educational project providing a healthy, active lifestyle, encouraging team spirit and camaraderie and developing children’s psychomotor skills.
We also offer many artistic activities to develop children’s musicality and creative senses.
Consequently, we have chosen to include sports and artistic activities in our program as early as the age of 2:
Age 2 and up: Motricity, primary musical education and dancing
Nursery School (PS) and up: Motricity, swimming, plastic arts, mucic, circus arts, dancing
First Year (GS) and up: Every day from 4 to 5 pm, a physical, artistic or cultural activity is offered to our students: swimming, Spanish, gymnastics, plastic arts, physical education and writing a newspaper (both in English and in French, copies of which will be distributed to families every two months).
Wednesday morning is devoted to extracurricular activities:
– Choir, theatre, fencing, and team sports.
SCHOOL AND FIELD TRIPS
Every year, we offer students the possibility to participate in school field trips and outings.
These outings are always optional and subject to parent authorisation.
A school trip is offered every year from MS and up.
Additional trips may be offered based on teacher initiatives and students’ interests such as local theatre outings, art exhibits, cultural excursions, etc.
